Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and presents!

Hi, everyone--

I had such a fun Christmas! Here are a few photos from the Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning.

Listening to Grandpa Mike reading " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas":

The next morning, I saw that Santa had eaten all the cookies and had drunk the glass of milk!:

Opening a coloring book from Santa:

And a keyboard from Grandma and Grandpa that you play with your feet!:

Looking at a Tinkerbell doll from Santa:

Checking out some fuzzy jammies. I love fuzzy jammies!:

Checking Emma's books to make sure they are okay (oops, this photo is on its side):

My new Olivia doll!:
My other cool gifts included a Nintendo DS from mommy and daddy, and a Pillow Pet (the unicorn!) from Santa! It was a great Christmas!

Christmas snow!

Hi, everyone!

Guess what! It SNOWED on Christmas Day! I guess this is the first time it has snowed on Christmas Day here in Atlanta for over 120 years. That meant some fun for me after opening presents!

Here I am back inside, cuddling with mommy and being silly:

The Diva makes Christmas cookies

Hi, again!

Mommy's trying to post a few updates on my blog (it's been a while!). We had a busy Christmas! Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Martha visited us for two weeks over the holidays, and we had a lot of fun with them!

Here's a few photos from the weeks leading up to Christmas. The top photo is me modeling my Christmas outfit....with a few of my own personal additions to make me look extra snazzy.

A few days before Christmas, we made cut-out cookies for Santa! That was really fun. Here I am licking the beaters and being silly after we rolled and cut the cookies.

I'll share more photos soon!

Some Christmas photos!

Hi, everyone!

Here are a few Christmas photos! The top one is of me meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus at our neighborhood clubhouse! I also got to see Santa at my school the week prior!

Below is the "official" photo that daddy took of me and my baby sister Emma. He took LOTS of photos in order to get this one! You may not believe this but mommy is behind us, helping me hold Emma!

We will try to post more Christmas photos here, or on our new family website http://clanofthecampbells.blogspot.com , so keep checking back to both!

MY BABY SISTER IS HERE!

Hi, everyone!

Guess what! I'M A BIG SISTER! My baby sister, Emma Claire, arrived on Sunday, November 7, at 1:18 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was just a little bit bigger than me when I was born (I weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz and I was 19 1/2 inches long). But I'm -still- the big sister!

Things are very busy these days with Emma, so it is not always easy to post new photos on the blog. But my mommy and daddy will try! Here are a few photos from the past few weeks.

Below is me meeting my baby sister for the first time at the hospital, on the day she was born:

Here I am showing her the toy that I picked out just for her:

Guess what?! Emma got ME a gift, too! It was a big sister/little sister doll set!

Giving Emma a kiss:
Holding Emma:
Say "cheese"!
She's so little!:
A few days later, mommy and Emma came home. And a few days after that, we decided to let Emma have a test run in the play yard. She liked it!

Shh! Emma's sleeping!! She sure does sleep a lot! Either that, or she's eating...or crying!:

I am a helpful big sister. One thing I love to help with is diaper changes. It's my job to give mommy or daddy a clean diaper for Emma. Here I am helping with this chore, wearing my Sushi Superhero costume (it's actually just a sushi bib):

(Oh, guess what--this weekend we put up Christmas decorations! I am wearing our Santa hat here...while Emma is very important in our household these days, so is Christmas!):

Here's myself and Emma at our friends' house on Thanksgiving:

I am proud to be a big sister!

My first week in Atlanta

Well, it's been a crazy week for my mommy, daddy, and me. After saying goodbye to all of my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in Illinois, we spent all day Saturday and Sunday driving in mommy and daddy's cars to our new house in Georgia. On Monday, the movers arrived with the great big truck and unloaded all of our things into the house. There are still lots of boxes all over the house, but mommy and daddy have unpacked a few of the rooms in our new house, like the living room, the family room, the kitchen, and most important--my bedroom! I will ask them to take some pictures of the new house so that they can post them here soon. I think my room is really neat because I have a big tree painted on the wall and a big airplane painted on the ceiling!

But now that I am getting settled in the new house, my thoughts are turning to more important things: Christmas and Santa Claus. On Thursday, mommy and daddy took me to see Santa Claus at a shopping mall near our house. It was exciting to meet him, though I was a little shy. Then guess what: this morning, he stopped by for a visit at our neighborhood clubhouse! So I put on my nice Christmas dress....

And I got to sit on his lap (and introduce him to Ducky, my best friend as of this week--he goes with me everywhere)....
And talk with him to tell him what I want for Christmas! It was so much fun. I even gave Santa a hug.
Afterwards I got to meet some of the kids in my new neighborhood, and I did some fun crafts and activities, like playing with foam stickers shaped like Christmas things.

I can't wait until Christmas!
