From Madeleine's mom:
So as many of you have heard, a major motion picture shot some scenes in our subdivision. Late one evening, we received a call for Madeleine to serve as an extra in a playground scene for this film. So, we were on set from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. We waited, and waited, and waited for our scene, which would be the "next scene shot." We were finally sent home since Madeleine had worked beyond an 8-hour workday. We returned into our neighborhood 20 minutes later to discover that they were FINALLY shooting said scene; so, had we waited a few more minutes (after waiting for hours), M would've been in the scene. Frustrating!! However, Madeleine got a decent paycheck for her "hard day's work". Madeleine was not discouraged; on the contrary, she was happy that she improved her skills on the swing that day.
