Daddy's violin

Hi, everyone:

Last weekend (Labor Day weekend), we drove back to Illinois to visit family. We stayed at Grandma Sue and Pa-pa's house. While we were there, daddy decided to bring back some things he had when he was younger, including the violin that he used to play. It is old and needs a bit of TLC, but one morning daddy took it out of its case and showed me how to play it! The top photo is a photo of me trying to play the violin with a bow; the bottom photo is daddy showing me how to pluck the violin strings. It was really neat! Perhaps someday I will learn how to play violin!
