Ready...set...go...

Today I ran my first race. It's a toddler race for kids ages 0 - 2. But I think it's mostly 2-year-old's. It was held at a pavilion in Washington near the pool. Daddy and I both forget what it's called...something like Wenger Pavilion.

I was really nervous before the race. So many kids...and it's my first race.



They lined us all up with either our mommies or our daddies. Mommy was my coach and lined up with me. Daddy stood at the finish line taking photos and timing my race.



Ready...set...go!!!



Wooooo!!!! 2nd Place!!! I didn't know they were giving out ribbons! Daddy said I clearly crossed the finish line first and he cried for a rematch. Mommy said it's all about having fun. I don't care for either. I just wanna run!



Summertime in Washington is turning out to be pretty fun!
