Happy Easter - Part I

This Easter Holiday has been great. Although we didn't travel to distance lands (like my two previous Easters), we all stayed at home and did fun family things. Last Thursday, Daddy took the day off from work and the family went to the Children's Discovery Museum in Bloomington, IL. It was great fun.

They had plenty of fun activities to do. I played in the water pond, played with fun science stuff, and I played on the sliding board.

I hope that Mommy and Daddy will take me again there soon.

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy let me color Easter Eggs for the first time. I had so much fun.

I helped mix the color dye in each cup.

...and I tested to make sure each one was the right temperature and color.

Yup, 12 shades of orange/brown...

I love coloring eggs.

Next, it's time to take the eggs out of the dye.

Now that I'm all done, and all the eggs have been dyed, I think I'll go ahead and color my other hand too.

After we colored eggs, Daddy took me outside to play. We went for a walk up the sidewalk. Daddy then took me on a bike ride to the park where I learned how to climb the kiddie ladder. Then we came back home. I tried to convince Daddy to come into my playhouse with me. He said he's too big to get in there. I'm not sure if I believe him entirely.

I'm sure I'll put up some photos on today's Easter Egg hunt. Until then...

HAPPY EASTER!!!
