Enter Spring

Spring is here, and it's been a nice first three months of the year. Although it was cold at times, the weather allowed Mommy and Daddy to take me on plenty of outings. This spring has been full of fun. Because the weather has been so nice, I've been getting to play outdoors more and more. We still get rainy days, and days like these, I just stay in and play with my toys. I might also find myself posing for Daddy's camera. Daddy has been taking photos for his blog, Dad With Camera.

But when it is sunny, look out world!!!
I finally got over my fear of the complete yard. Now that I've explored the place completely, Mom and Dad give me the freedom to run around as I like. I like to wait until they turn their back, then I quickly run to the other side of the house, where they will be forced to come and find me.

I also discovered that we are not alone in the yard. There are these things called "BUGS!!!" that I love to hold still and watch.

Being outside so much, I'm also learning to use the stairs. I can go up no problem. But I'm still taking one-step-at-a-time when it comes to going down stairs.
Just another Step
Mommy and Daddy have been going on trips again as well. We recently took a trip to Brussels. Aside from being in the stroller most of the time, there were still a few memorable moments.

I can see lots of stuff from the stroller, but anymore I just get bored. "...I'd rather be walking..."
I'd rather be walking.
But they let me out from time to time, and that gives me the chance to act totally silly...like putting on Mommy's hat.
Just like mommy

And there's no end to my silliness. Since Daddy takes the bus to work now, Mommy has the car more often. This means we get to visit people a lot more. Recently we visited one of Mommy's friends who has a big dog."I can act like a doggie too!!!"
I can be a doggie too

Springtime is also not always happy. Mommy and Daddy says it has nothing to do with the weather...they say something about, "...terrible two's coming early". I don't know what that means...
Not happy

Not very happy
But at the end of the day, make sure I get a nap, you feed me plenty, and give me something that's curious, then the tears just melt away.
